A 24-Hour Blood Pressure monitor is a portable device attached to a BP cuff that records you blood pressure regularly over 24 hours to determine if one is at risk of hypertension.
You will need an initial appointment with a doctor to determine if you are suitable for a Holter monitor or a 24 Hr BP monitor.
Call our reception team on 03 9485 7700 to book an appointment. Once the GP orders these tests, you will need to book an appointment with one of our nurses to set up the monitor, and again the next day to take it off.
The GP will receive the result within a week, and generally results would be given to you at an appointment.
