We also provide General Practice care to the local community in Fitzroy North. The clinic provides comprehensive testing and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV, as well as a full range of General Practice and Allied Health services.

We are committed to providing an environment that is safe and inclusive for people of all sexual orientations, sex and gender identities.

New Patient Policy

If you wish to become a new patient of the clinic, please speak to our friendly staff who will be able to advise you of our current availability. Due to the high demand of new patients on the clinic, we currently operate a category system for new patients.

Please note, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are not taking any new patients, except for Category A patients as outlined below.

Category A*: Prompt appointments as soon as possible are made for:

  • Children of existing patients under the age of 16.
  • People living with HIV who have recently moved to Victoria and do not have a doctor managing their HIV.
  • People who are newly diagnosed with HIV and do not have a doctor managing their HIV.
  • People in need of Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for exposure to
HIV within the previous 72 hours. Please note: this is only to manage your initial exposure treatments. Thereafter you will need to return to your usual GP.

* If you fit the eligibility criteria above, contact our friendly reception team who will need to qualify your eligibility. If approved, you will be required to go through the triage process at our clinic.

Unfortunately, we can only offer appointments to new patients who are eligible under category A at this time.

Category B: Next available appointments are made for:

  • Members of the LGBTIQA+ community.
  • People requiring acute STI management, those requiring sexual health care, or those with a referral from another doctor.
  • Partners and children of existing patients.
  • People living in Fitzroy North (proof of residency will be required).
