Cate graduated from Monash University in 1985. She is a vocationally registered GP. Cate developed an interest in sexual health medicine while working in Darwin where she took a break from GP training and worked for 2 years as a part-time registrar at the AIDS / STD unit of the Communicable Diseases Unit based at Darwin Hospital.
Several years ago Cate completed training in Sexual Health Medicine, attaining Fellowship of the Chapter of Sexual Health Physicians.
Cate is interested in all aspects of sexual health medicine and HIV medicine. She has an interest in women’s health, in particular vulval conditions including dermatology and pain syndromes.
